Keepdaay is a personal diary. The whole product only works if you are willing to be honest in it, so this page is written plainly rather than in legal boilerplate.
The messages and voice notes you send to the Keepdaay Telegram bot, the text transcribed from those voice notes, and the structured version of them (summary, date, category, tags, mood score) produced when they are processed. We also store your habits and their check-ins, and your Telegram chat ID, which is what lets the bot know the messages are yours.
Every entry, voice note, habit and mood is tied to your account and is only ever shown to you. No other Keepdaay user can see, read, hear or reach your data — not through a link, an id, a search, or any trick. This is not just a promise: every single database query is scoped to your account, so there is no path that returns another person’s journal. One user can never become a window into another.
The people who run Keepdaay do not browse your entries. The admin tools deliberately show only account information — plan, join date, whether Telegram is linked — and never the content of a single entry. Your diary is not opened for support, curiosity, analytics, or any other reason. It is not read in the background and it is not read after the fact.
We never use your entries to train AI models. We never sell your entries or share them with advertisers or data brokers. We do not show ads. Your journal is behind your account login and marked noindex, so search engines do not list it.
To function, Keepdaay passes your message text to a small number of processors: Telegram (message delivery), Google Gemini (transcription and structuring), Neon (database hosting) and Vercel (application hosting). They process it on our behalf to deliver the service. They each have their own privacy terms.
Honest caveat: this means your entry text does leave our servers in order to be transcribed and summarised. There is no way to run the transcription and the date reasoning without that. If that is not acceptable to you, this is the right moment to know it.
You can edit any entry from the journal. If you want everything deleted, message the bot and say so — the journal, the entries and the habits are removed from the database. There is no dark pattern here and no retention period we are hiding.
If we ever change what we do with your data, you will be told before the change takes effect, not quietly afterwards. Retroactive policy changes are one of the standard betrayals in this category of app and we are not going to do it.
